Lauren Lemieux, RN, BSN

Lauren Lemieux, RN, BSN graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Studies-Dietetics in 2014. She then went on to pursue her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing/Associate of Health Sciences at Three Rivers College in 2017, and RN-BSN completion at Southeast Missouri State University in 2018.  Lauren started her nursing career on a Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit and would go on to become a travel nurse for several years, where she worked primarily in the neurology seizure and stroke specialties. She was a research nurse at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital on an epilepsy unit and from there realized her love for neurology research. Since moving back to Nashville, TN, she has worked on 7 Round Wing, a geriatric delirium care unit at VUMC. She is excited to join our research team and be a part of studies that are on the forefront of delirium care and changing the way delirium is handled inside the hospital.
