Laura M. Keohane is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Her research investigates how to achieve better health outcomes and provide affordable services for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries, especially those who face health care barriers due to age, disability, or socioeconomic circumstances. Keohane’s current projects focus on managed care initiatives for dual-eligible beneficiaries, benefit design for post-acute services, and Medicare spending growth. Dr. Keohane completed her doctoral degree in Health Services Research at Brown University in 2015.  She holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and a M.S. in health policy and management from the Harvard School of Public Health.
