Hana Sadun was born in Kurdistan, Iraq but moved to the United States with her parents when she was only a few weeks old. She grew up in Nashville, TN and attended high school at the historic MLK Academic Magnet High School. She went on to MTSU where she received her Bachelor in Basic and Applied Sciences with a major in Biology, emphasis in Physiology, and minor in Chemistry. She is currently enrolled in Lipscomb University’s Masters in Biomolecular Sciences Program and plans to apply to medical school after she graduates next year.
Hana aspires to become a physician who will serve underrepresented and disadvantaged communities in the future. She has spent her last six years gaining valuable experience in healthcare through her positions as a pharmacy technician, emergency room scribe, clinical research assistant, and now clinical research coordinator. Hana is very close with her family consisting of her husband, parents, and four younger siblings. She looks forward to spending time with them during her free time and considers them her greatest motivators and supporters in life.
