Meredith Gambrell, BA

Mrs. Meredith Gambrell, BA is a Clinical Trial Specialist with the Center for Health Services Research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with a concentration in Psychology. Her current role with the Delirium and Cognitive Impairment Study Group is multifaceted. She serves as the Project Coordinator of the Coordinating Center for multicenter trials which includes, maintaining proper IRB documents and submissions for Coordinating Center, create, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, and provide organization and administrative support for Coordinating Center communication (email, newsletters, conference calls, and retreats). She provides all facets of administrative support for a large research program, including management of budget, management of schedules and meetings, organization, managing a website and a large database. Mrs. Gambrell also, assists in preparation and maintenance of both small local grants and large national grants: Collection of materials, formatting, budget creation and compliance, proof-reading, and creation of regular progress reports.
