Jennifer K. Clune, MD

Jennifer K. Clune, MD is currently a resident in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University and will be the Hugh J. Morgan Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Hospital for the 2008-2009 adademic year.  Jenny graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami University (Oxford, OH) and earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine (Columbus, OH), where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the AOA medical honor society.  She is currently applying for fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She has recently joined the ICU Delirium and Cognitive Impairment Study Group as a member of the RETURN team of investigators, seeking to improve cognitive and functional outcomes for survivors of ICU care.  Additionally, she has special interest in integrating Palliative Care practices into the care of critically ill patients in the ICU.  In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at the Shade Tree Clinic, a medical student run clinic that provides indigent care in the Nashville area.  She is married to her high school sweetheart, Adam, who is a project manager for a Nashville area construction management firm.
