US News and World Report
This delirium research from Vanderbilt and the VA system was featured in the US News and World Report issue on Best Hospitals in 2004. The thrust of the article was that medical care for aging Americans needed to focus on issues that were disproportionately problematic for older patients, and delirium monitoring among critically ill patients may therefore be an important new part of the armamentarium against their development of functional disability following critical illness.
